Even if I don’t listen to their stuff on the regular.
I know they don’t wanna necessarily be pegged as “queer artists” and left at that but it’s important to recognize their queerness because it puts a certain sense of importance on their perspectives. Like Mykki Blanco (who is friends with Le1f, pictured above) tweets some of the realest, riot grrrl-est, anti-colonial, anti-patriarchy shit. And those words mean every fucking thing to me. It’s about time shit like that gets heard.
